STRANDED is an old-school adventure game. Your airplane is failing and you have no choice but to eject. Below you is a mysterious island, which is populated by many dangerous hazards. Can you survive?
Each of the game's locations is illustrated and we've done our best to make the parser as friendly as possible. It's a fairly short adventure, but we hope you have fun playing it.
If you're too young to have ever played a game like this before, we're extremely jealous! Click on the "how to play" button for some hints and tips.
If you get REALLY stuck, you can download a document that explains how to complete the game step-by-step. But you wouldn't do that... would you?
This game is 100% free and written purely for the fun of it.

Install instructions
To play this game, either:
Download and unzip the "stranded-installer" file and then run "stranded-installer.exe". This will install the game on Windows.
OR:
Download and unzip the "stranded" file, and then run the "stranded.exe" file directly.
When you install or run the game, Windows may warn you that it’s an “unknown app” from an “unknown publisher.” This happens because we don’t use a paid code‑signing certificate — those cost a lot of money every year, and it’s hard to justify that expense for a free hobby project.
Rest assured: the game contains no harmful software. Windows is simply being cautious with small indie projects.
If you see the warning, click “More info” on the Windows SmartScreen message. Then click “Run anyway.” This tells Windows you trust the app and want to continue.
