GRASSROOTS is a football manager game with a difference. You take over a struggling non-league side, rooted at the bottom of Division 4. Can you take them to the regional title?
As this is non-league football, there are no player contracts or transfer fees. However, every week brings a variety of other challenges for you to manage. The life of a non-league manager is far from easy!
For instance:
Two of your players have a bust-up in training. How will you deal with it?
You have the chance to sign a new player, but several other clubs are also after him. Are you prepared to offer the right weekly wage to get your man?
Will you spend time schmoozing with sponsors to gain much needed income, or repair your pitch to reduce the risk of injuries and fines from the FA?
Whatever you do, don't get on the wrong side of Mr Chairman!
Grassroots works well as a single player game, but also caters for up to 4 players. There is nothing better than beating your mates :)
This game is 100% free and written purely for the fun of it.

Install instructions
To play this game, either:
Download and unzip the "Grassroots (Installer)" file and then run "Grassroots_Installer.exe". This will install the game on Windows.
OR:
Download and unzip the "Grassroots (Game)" file, and then run the "Grassroots.exe" file directly.
When you try to install/run the game, Windows will warn you that this is an "unknown app" from an "unknown publisher". Becoming a "known publisher" means spending a lot of money every year on digital certificates, which we can't really justify for a free game! But we promise there is nothing harmful on offer.
